Inspired by Qishr - a traditional Yemeni drink made of dried coffee husks, honey and spices!
This batch has been created using solely wild foraged Coffee Cherries picked around the Inner-West of Sydney - which were then dried alongside the beans inside of them.
Warmth comes from hand-picked Wild Native Tasmanian Pepperberries, Native Anise Myrtle, and Wild Pink Pepperleaf - all steeped into local Summer Hill Honey to sweeten the senses.
What is a Shrub? It is a concentrated 17th Century-era preservation beverage that combines fresh fruit, sugar, and vinegar.
The result is a sweet yet tantalisingly acidic drop that can be enjoyed on its own or used in mixed drinks.
You’ll find this style of drink fascinating once you get a taste for it!
◎ Use: An excellent way to add zing to fresh beverages or cocktails. Pair with a splash of soda or ginger beer and fresh apple, or dash it with tequila, mezcal, whiskey, or vodka.

To maintain Warndu taste we keep smaller quantities on hand of our Australian Natives, it takes us a little while to dry, roast or grind them to make. We aim to send all orders within ten days of receiving them.

◎ We send by tracked standard Australia Post and offer Express Post. With Express Post please be aware that we still require 3-10 days for packing from the time of order. This allows us to blend products and keep up with the volume of orders. Express post speeds up the AusPost delivery time.

◎ Due to our hand blending and keeping products as fresh as possible, items may take 7-10 days to prepare, and then send from the Clare Valley. There has been delays due to border closures. We generally send items on Tuesdays.
