Warndu registered as an Indigenous owned business by Supply Nation.
Warndu was started in 2016 by Damien Coulthard, Rebecca Sullivan and Siobhan O'Toole.

Warndu means good in the Adnyamathanha language. Damien's language and lands. Our mission is to REGENERATE culture, community, tradition, health and our soils. Every product we make includes one or more Australian Native ingredients.
Warndu is a majority held Indigenous business by Damien Coulthard. We are proud to have been approved by Supply Nation in 2019.
Our journey began with a crowdsourcing campaign with ING Dreamstarter and then built our website to help all Australian's get native's in their pantry. Building on the momentum we began the process of becoming registered with Supply Nation in 2019.
Why are we Registered and not Certified?
Registered on Supply Nation means 50% or more Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander ownership (caters for equal partnerships with non-Indigenous owners).
Certified on Supply Nation means 51% or more Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander owned, managed and controlled.
Warndu is managed in what we believe is a fair for our business, which is agreement between all three parties (Damien, Rebecca and Siobhan) thus we couldn't be considered certified as we share the decisions and operation of Warndu.
Warndu's team split our responsibilities between Damien who leads education, cultural and story telling, Rebecca who leads creative, all things cooking and packing, whilst Siobhan supports the commercial activities.
Warndu is a majority held indigenous business. We are proud to have been approved by Supply Nation.
