Our favourite ingredient of them all picked in the Pink Gully, NSW and ground fresh for you. This is not just perfect in tea, but an incredible addition to all of your deserts and a great drink garnish (whole leaves).
Warndu Australian Native Strawberry Gum is available in whole leaf (the leaves are dried and will have bits) and dried and ground.
Dried and ground is best for baking and the whole leaf can be chopped and is best for teas and infusions.
Our products are all made in Australia from 100% locally sourced, seasonal and wild harvested produce.
Warndu means good in the Adnyamathanha language.

In our efforts to be zero waste and plastic free, and with the changes to recycling in Australia, we will be phasing out all plastic bags. For now you may receive your spices, teas and home products in either black, white or clear plastic, and once that is all gone our amazing new compostable plant-based packaging will be what you will receive products in.

To maintain Warndu taste we keep smaller quantities on hand of our Australian Natives, it takes us a little while to dry, roast or grind them to make. We aim to send all orders within ten days of receiving them.

I purchased this to make the strawberry gum pavlova for Christmas, and the flavour was amazing! The only downside was unfortunately the description indicates that the strawberry gum is 'ground to order', so I was expecting this to be in a powdered form ready to use. However, it was not powdered, but in crumbling leaves (which would be fine for teas). We used a mortar and pestle, but this was difficult to get a fine grind with. Not sure if this is an error in the description or an error in packaging! The upside of grinding it though was that the smell filled the house for a few hours, as well as with the pavlova baking. Delicious!

Having been unable to cook for the last few weeks due to an injured shoulder I can't give you an honest review of the products I ordered, but having opened them, they certainly smell wonderful. Having ordered and used your products before I anticipate they will be just as wonderful
