Like the sherbet bomb you ate as a kid! Australian Native Fruit Desert Lime are also a very rich source of calcium and contain high levels of vitamin C, folate (vitamin B9), vitamin E and lutein. Fresh Desert Limes freeze whole and can be eaten whole too.

Pop them into gin and tonics, cakes, stir-fries, salads – just about anything that wants a fresh lime addition. They will hydrate in water but not to their original state. We use them as-is normally, but in tangines and curries etc they will act like preserved lime and re-hydrate.

Please Note: 25g spice tins for powder are temporarily out of stock in black tins, and will be supplied in white tins.

How to Use

Powdered: These desert limes are so tangy and delicious, we use them at home in everything. The powder comes freeze-dried in a resealable 50g bag.

Chips: These come as dried whole chips and make fantastic additions to cocktails and mocktails.  There will be some powder in the pack.

Our mission is to REGENERATE culture, community, tradition, health and our soils. Every product we make includes one or more Australian Native ingredients.

In our efforts to be zero waste and plastic free, and with the changes to recycling in Australia, we will be phasing out all plastic bags. For now you may receive your spices, teas and home products in either black, white or clear plastic, and once that is all gone our amazing new compostable plant-based packaging will be what you will receive products in.
Thanks for your patience and understanding whilst we endeavour to tread lightly on your yarta (land).

To maintain Warndu taste we keep smaller quantities on hand of our Australian Natives, it takes us a little while to dry, roast or grind them to make. We aim to send all orders within ten days of receiving them.

I ordered the dessert lime 5 weeks ago. I still haven’t received it.

Debbie -from silverfox manaagement. We had sent your tracking items. Auspost held your item in Sunshine west. We raised an enquiry which you can also do and we sent the tracking and express posted another batch out to help you out. You committed to sending us the other one back when released from Auspost which you never did.
