Endemic to south-east Queensland and northern New South Wales, the finger lime tree has fruit in a range of vibrant colours, from green through to red. While the flavour can be compared to a lime, the fruit has tiny ‘caviar pearls’ of flesh prized by chefs worldwide. It is used in a variety of ways, from topping ceviche and oysters, to salads and cocktails. Our personal favourite is finger lime over kangaroo carpaccio. Freeze-dried at the source for a fresh and easy to use product.

Please Note: 25g spice tins for powder are temporarily out of stock in black tins, and will be supplied in white tins.

The product comes in two types:

Powdered: Perfect for baking and cooking but best used uncooked to maintain its benefits.  Best in a smoothie, juice or sprinkled on cereals and yoghurt.

How to substitute: approximately 1/2 teaspoon of powder is equivalent to one finger lime.

Chips: Perfect as Garnish for cocktails adding to cooking and are an essential ingredient for bush food brittle. Anywhere you would use preserved lemons and of course your favourite Applewood Gin and Tonic.

Please note: the chips will have some crushing during transport. The powder is still great over cocktails.

Finger lime

This product is amazing. I add about a teaspoon of the dried finger lime to my travel cup, along with lemon myrtle leaves for an all day tea. I just keep adding boiling water to rejuvenate the flavours. Better than conventional tea or coffee.

Good for cravings

Great for adding to gin, or eating plain - it doesn't take many to fix my craving for sour lollies, and it is a lot better for me!

fast delivery, good food

I ordered the fingerlime chips - they were great and a nice addition to gin. My only issue was that i expected larger, more 'complete' chips whereas what I received were small and fairly broken up.

Prompt delivery, delicious food

I bought the fingerlime chips, davidson plum powder, wattle seed sprinkle and bush tomatoes, I'm super impressed with all of them. Quality food, well packaged, promptly delivered. Will definitely buy again.
