Beautiful images and interesting recipes. There are many pages featuring all the indigenous edibles so it is part glossary part cookbook. You wouldn’t be expected to have all the ingredients so you can easily substitute and experiment. The recipes are starting points in my learning about native ingredients and how to use them. So far I have made Wattle seed damper, which is delicious toasted with soup or cheese. I had some Strawberry Gum tea too. Look forward to trying more and eventually growing some of my own natives!
Warndu Mai Pantry Pack
I love my new Warndu Mai cookbook and dried herbs. The recipes are so inspiring and different I can’t wait to make them all! I also love the extra information on Australian native foods and history.
